I've been having some interesting conversations with Jolie O'Dell and Mary Fahncke about the role of new media, in particular in traditional DRTV companies. This is really great news for Hawthorne. Putting up a slick sites is one thing. Having people on those sites participate in a meaningful conversation is new media. Hey, what gives, a meaningful conversation is new media?! Sounds old as time to me! The more things change, the more they say the same. It's still all about people and relationships. We're just using new technology to communicate.
